How often is the Top Search Trends Report generated?

The report is generated daily and contains 7 days’ worth of rolling aggregate data. 

On what bases are these search keywords ranked?

Search keywords are ranked based on number of searches, aggregated for a given time period (rolling 7 days). 

How are the top items ranked?

The items are ranked based on a decreasing order of organic units sold. 

Does the Top Search Trends report include variant items?

With variant bidding launch, the Top Search Trends report will also include variant items.

Does the Top Search Trends report include Raw keywords Or Normalized keyword?

Top Search Trends Report includes raw keywords searched by the shoppers.   

What is the maximum number of row records in the Top Search Trends Report?

The maximum threshold for number of rows in the Top Search Trends Report is 300K.

Can there be scenarios with no selling items (1, 2, 3) for a given search keyword?

For a given period when the top searched keyword(s) does not have associated selling item(s) then the corresponding item attribute columns will empty fields in the report. 

Does search keywords listed in the Top Search Trends Report also include Sponsored Keywords?

Yes. The search keywords in the Top Search Reports are organic search keywords searched by shoppers on Walmart.com and app. This means that both sponsored, and non-sponsored shopper search keywords are part of the report. 

Does search keywords listed in the Top Search Trends Report also include Non-Sponsored Search Keywords?

Yes. The search keywords in the Top Search Reports are organic search keywords searched by shoppers on Walmart.com and app. This means that both sponsored, and non-sponsored shopper search keywords are part of the report. 

Does the daily report differ across advertisers?

The report is advertiser agnostic, meaning that all Partners receive the same report daily. 

How is click share defined for top selling items?

Click share is a percentage determined by the number of times shoppers clicked on an item when searched for a given search keyword, divided by the total number of times shoppers clicked on any item when searched for the same search keyword. 

How is conversion share defined for top selling items?

Conversion share is a percentage determined by the number of times shoppers purchased (ordered) an item when searched for a given search keyword, divided by the total number of times shoppers purchased (ordered) any item when searched for the same search keyword. 

Can the click share be greater than no. 1 top selling item for no. 2 and no.3 selling items?

Yes. The click share for no. 2 and/or no. 3 selling item can be greater than no. 1 selling item. This can happen as the number of clicks an item does not correspond to units sold (quantity). 

Please note that the top 3 selling items are ranked based on decreasing order of organic units sold. 

Can the conversion share be greater than no. 1 top selling item?

Yes. The conversion share for no. 2 and/or no.3 selling item can be greater than no. 1 selling item. This can happen as the number of orders for an item are not directly proportional to units sold (quantity). 

Please note that the top 3 selling items are ranked based on decreasing order of organic units sold. 

Can the conversion share be greater than click share for an item?
