The WFS Inventory API provides real-time inventory data for items fulfilled through Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). This API allows you to monitor stock availability, manage your catalog, item publishing, and lifecycle status. By querying for specific SKUs, you can access a wide range of inventory metrics, to ensure optimal stock management, streamline operations, and make informed decisions about WFS inventory.

Important: This endpoint replaces the legacy WFS Inventory API (/v3/fulfillment/inventory), which will be deprecated in 2026 (more information to come). Switch to this new endpoint to continue accessing WFS inventory data.

sku

An arbitrary alphanumeric unique ID, specified by the seller, which identifies each item. This will be used by the seller in the XSD file to refer to each item. Special characters in the sku needing encoding are: ':', '/', '?', '#', '[', ']', '@', '!', '$', '&', "'", '(', ')', '*', '+', ',', ';', '=', ‘ ’ as well as '%' itself if it's a part of sku. Make sure to encode spaces with %20. Other characters don't need to be encoded.

Global Trade Item Number is a unique identifier for a product that is recognized internationally. This must be 14 digits.

limit

Defaults to 10

Number of SKUs to be returned. Cannot be larger than 300.

offset

Offset is the number of records you wish to skip before selecting records.
