# Update: Reduced Referral Fee Incentives API Enhancement

We’re excited to announce an enhancement to the Update Reduced Referral Fee Incentives Enrollment API. This update introduces a new optional request parameter: `incentiveId`.

With this new parameter, you can pre-enroll in incentives that start in the future, enabling you to benefit from reduced referral fees on select low-priced items.

Once enrolled:

* The price of the incentivized item will be automatically updated to the incentive-eligible price.
* The incentive will be activated based on the startDate specified in the Get Incentives API.

> Note for existing integrations:

> If you’re already using the current Reduced Referral Fee Enrollment API, you’ll need to update your integration to use the new version and include `incentiveId` in the request body.
