Update: Expanded fulfillment center and international template support for Settings Management APIs

We updated the Settings Management API to support fulfillment center setup and edits in more countries. Sellers can now configure and edit fulfillment centers through existing Seller Center onboarding, Seller Center fulfillment center setup, and external API flows.

This update also expands support for international templates, including the ability to create and configure international templates and use international default templates.

What changed

  • Added support for fulfillment center setup and edits in more countries.
  • Expanded the number of country values for fulfillment centers:
    • From CN, IN, HK, and USA
    • To: IN, HK, CN, TW, VN, TH, SG, MX, KR, TR, JP, DE, CL, CA, GB, and USA.
  • Expanded the number of supported time zone values:
    • From PST, EST, CST, and MST
    • To: PST, MST, CST, EST, PDT, MDT, CDT, EDT, ADT, NDT, GMT, CET, TRT, IST, CTT, HKT, SGT, ICT, JST, KST, VST, and CLT.
  • Region-specific restrictions were removed on supported fulfillment center setup and edit flows.
  • Added a new international default template for fulfillment centers in each country.
  • Sellers with international templates must now have a value ship method providing free coverage to the 48 contiguous US states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Sellers can configure faster paid shipment options using the standard ship method.
