# Seller Performance API updates

**Date:** October 28, 2025

**Summary**\
We updated the Seller Performance Standards API to align labels and thresholds across desktop, app, and API. The response now includes clearer labels and new field names for easier parsing. No action is required to receive the new fields.

## What changed

* **Label text in responses**
  * Meets Standard changed to **Good**
  * Needs Attention changed to **Monitor**
  * Urgent Review changed to **Urgent**

* **Fields**
  * Added `performanceRiskLevel`. Field `riskLevel` will be deprecated.
  * Added `performanceStandard`. Field `standard` will be deprecated.

* **Standards language**
  * Now uses “99% or above”
  * Now uses “95% or above”
  * Now uses “90% or above”
  * Now uses “2% or below”
  * Now uses “6% or below”

## Scope

These updates apply to Performance Standards summary APIs, including On-Time Delivery, Valid Tracking, Seller Response, Refund, and Cancellation Rate.

## Why it matters

Clearer labels and consistent phrasing reduce ambiguity and make it easier to act on performance data across platforms.

## Next steps

* No action needed to keep receiving data.
* Start reading `performanceRiskLevel` and `performanceStandard` for forward compatibility.
* Plan to migrate off `riskLevel` and `standard` ahead of their removal. The deprecation schedule will follow our API deprecation policy.
* Update any alerts, dashboards, and parsers that key on the old label strings or field names.
