Items, Inventory, Orders, Returns, API Update – Preorder

On September 18, 2024, Preorder and its related information will be available across various APIs. A Preorder identifier will be introduced to help you differentiate a Preorder versus regular item across the following APIs. The new attributes are only required/available for Preorder items.

Items API:
Get an item API, Get all items API, and Get item search API.

Orders API:
Get – All Orders API, Get – an Order API, Get – All Released Orders API, Post – Acknowledge Orders API, Post – Cancel Order API, Post- Refund Order API, Post- Ship Order API

Returns API:
Get – Returns API

In addition, we will introduce a new attribute “Inventory Available Date” in the Inventory APIs for Sellers in the Preorder program. To setup inventory for Preorder items across the following APIs, please see below:

Inventory API:
Get – Inventory API, Put – Update Inventory API, Get – Single Item Inventory by Ship Node API, Put – Update Item Inventory per Ship Node API, Post – Bulk Item Inventory Update API

This is an input Sellers could use to add an inventory available date as well as receive a response for the date if it exists. This is required/available only for Preorder items.
