Settings Management   Walmart’s legacy shipping template settings allow sellers to define and manage their own transit times. Sellers are responsible for maintaining legacy shipping template settings, so delivery promises on Walmart.com remain accurate for their products. Sellers are also held accountable for late deliveries due to misconfigured transit times.   You may need to use a shipping template if you:  * Use domestic carrier services other than USPS, UPS, or FedEx  * Require international shipping  * Want to ship with Freight carrier services  # 2. Simplified Shipping Settings  The Simplified Shipping Settings (SSS) is the alternate solution to legacy shipping templates on Walmart Marketplace that creates accurate delivery promises by generating dynamic transit times for your configured carrier service.   Simplified Shipping Settings enables sellers to manage shipping configurations (free or paid) for their assortment. It requires minimum coverage across the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Shipping coverage for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands is optional.  Based on the carrier services configured, the platform derives dynamic transit times based on customer proximity, carrier performance, and network data.  *** #
