Item spec: versioning and diff reporting

You can download item specification requirements for various feed types. The table below provides links to download the complete item spec requirements for 6,700 product types simultaneously. You can access both the latest and previous versions of the specifications to quickly compare which version you've integrated with and troubleshoot any issues on your end.

Use the Diff Report Type column to review changes between the previous specification version and the latest recommended version. Walmart publishes an updated diff report with each item specification release. Review this section regularly to identify changes to product types, attributes, allowed values, and item setup requirements. Diff reports compare only the recommended and previous versions; versions listed as Not Recommended are excluded.
