New Walmart Multichannel Solutions (MCS) Sales Channel APIs

We’re pleased to announce the launch of new APIs for Walmart Multichannel Solutions (MCS), giving sellers and partners the tools to integrate and manage sales channels beyond Walmart.com.

The Multichannel Solutions (MCS) Sales Channel APIs enables partners and sellers to seamlessly create and update a channel for your online storefront, or for other channels like Amazon, eBay, Temu or Shein. With Walmart Multichannel Solutions, we’ll fulfill eligible orders from any eCommerce site.

This API introduces several powerful enhancements:

Sellers and partners can now create or update sales channels programmatically through the API, instead of handling each one manually.
The API allows for detailed configuration of ‘Ship From’ address which is the business that customers see on the shipping label and where we send back undeliverable shipments improving flexibility and operational control.
Sellers and partners can manage multiple channels and fulfillment strategies through a single integration point, streamlining multichannel operations.

Important to know before you get started:

Before you add a sales channel, you first need to have a billing method on file for all related fees. Please refer to the Walmart Multichannel Solutions eligibility checklist for more details.
A sales channel must be created before you can start placing customer orders.

Create fulfillment sales channel details

Use this end point to set up a new sales channel in MCS. You can define:

Sales channel Name (e.g. your website, Amazon, eBay, Shein, Temu, etc.)
Ship from and return address: This is the business address that customers see on the shipping label. It’s also where we send back undeliverable shipments.

Get fulfillment sales channel details

Retrieves all the details for sales channels you’ve already created for MCS, including sales channel name, ship from, and return address information for a given partner ID.

Update fulfillment sales channel details

Updates MCS sales channel details for existing sales channel which includes the sales channel name, ship from ,and return address information for a given partner ID.
