Why can’t I cancel, refund, or ship certain orders?

Requests fail when an order is already shipped, cancelled, or outside the valid timeframe. Retrieve the order details first to confirm current status and eligibility.

Why did my Ship With Walmart label fail to generate?

SWW label failures return an application/problem+json response. Check the type field to identify the cause and whether you can retry.

• Hazmat or dangerous goods: The shipment contains items ineligible for the selected carrier service. Select a supported service or submit a third-party tracking number.
• Cross Border Trade (CBT): The seller is enrolled in Out Of Country but required fields (Harmonized System code, country of origin, or product URL) are missing or invalid. Correct the order details or submit a third-party tracking number. Do not retry.
  • CBT (carrier API failure): A transient error occurred. The type URI ends in /retryable. Retry the request once. If the error persists, submit a third-party tracking number.
  • CBT (shipment ineligible): The shipment cannot be processed due to carrier restrictions, hazmat limits, or dimension constraints. The type URI ends in /non-retryable. Submit a third-party tracking number. Do not retry.
