The Insights APIs are critical to building your business and catalog offerings. Use the Insights APIs to learn actionable information about your current listings: Top trending items, unpublished items, and quality of item listings.

Item listing quality details

Use the Item listing quality details API request to get each item's listing quality details including overall average item quality score, your post-purchase quality score, and issues about your published items. You can get details on how the item quality score changed over time based on these content & discoverability, offer, and ratings & reviews.

Seller listing quality score

Use the Seller listing quality score API request to get the total listing quality score for a seller's entire item catalog.

The listing quality score is based on several metrics that gauge the quality of your item listings: content, discoverability, offer, ratings, and reviews. If there are issues in these metric categories, the seller’s overall score decreases.

Item count with listing quality issues

Use Item count with listing quality issues API request to get a list of all item categories that have items with listing quality issues or brands. You can identify the listing items which have problems, fix the issues, and increase sales with better quality listings.

Unpublished item counts

Use Unpublished Item Count API request to get a count of all unpublished items. The response includes a list of unpublished items grouped by:

• Count of unique item SKUs unpublished by specific reason code
• Unpublished item reason code
• Total cost for all items unpublished for that reason

Unpublished items

Use the Unpublished Items API request to return all unpublished item details with a specific reason code you pass.
