Request Approval to Use Cost API

Using the Cost API requires approval from the user's Walmart category manager. The Cost API returns an error if used without approval.

To request Cost API approval, the drop ship vendor (DSV) must submit a request and open a support case:

1. Email the Walmart merchant (category manager) to initiate the approval request. Email approval from the associated category manager is required to submit a support request.
2. Create a partner support case for internal teams to access the Cost API. Attach the category manager's approval email to the support case.
3. Provide this information to partner support for the case.

4. Once the support case is completed, users can access the Cost API to update the cost for their items.
