POST Item Setup and Maintenance: Notes on Submissions
The following are notes on exception processes for POST Item Setup and Maintenance as well as any applicable remediation.

| Supplier must include GTIN for trade item hierarchy. | Suppliers must include the global trade item number (GTIN) of the trade item (TI) hierarchy they wish to update when updating the following: Each (EA), inner pack (PK), case (CA), pallet (PL), or dimensions (height, width, or depth/length). Example: In the following response sample, suppliers must include caseGTIN:{"case": { "caseGTIN": "00196096858236", "caseWidth": 28.33, "caseWeight": 15}} | N/A. | Suppliers cannot update trade item hierarchy for items synchronized with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) | Item maintenance includes the ability to update the trade item hierarchy dimensions (each, inner, case, and pallet) of the consumable and orderable global trade item number (GTIN) associated with the Walmart Item Number (WIN) setup. However, if the Item is synchronized with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), Walmart will ignore all updates made to the trade item hierarchy.
