Item Configurations Report (Walmart Item Numbers)

The item configurations report contains all the item configurations that a supplier sells to Walmart.

Each record or row in the report is a unique Walmart item, and each record is represented with its Walmart Item Number (WIN). The report contains all the relevant item configuration details (related logistics and warehousing details) and the trade item configurations.

Full list of attributes present in reportDownload the attribute list here.
Are all attributes always included in report? No. Not all attributes in the list above will be included in every report. The attributes will only be present under two conditions:

(1) The attributes are present for one or more item configurations in the supplier’s report.

(2) The attributes are relevant to the supplier’s item configuration type. There are three item configuration types: DSV, ONLINE, and STORE. These configuration types define how items are sold to customers. Based on the item configuration, only the relevant attributes will be returned in the report. Suppliers can see the relevant attributes to the item configuration type by looking at the OMNI_MAINTENANCE feed file schema (located in the Feed Files Available section of the Feeds guide).
Supports defining attributes included in the report?Yes. Using the includeColumns parameter lets suppliers define the specific attributes returned in the report.
Value filters (attributes)The following are available value filters (attributes):

Certain attributes are always included in the associated report. Outside of those attributes, the attributes will not appear in the report in a consistent order. Additionally, an attribute will only be included in the report if one or more records has a value for that attribute.

For example, if the report has nine items and none of those items have the Warehouse Rotation Code attribute, then the Warehouse Rotation Code attribute will not display on the report. However, if the report has nine items and one of those items have the Warehouse Rotation Code attribute, then the Warehouse Rotation Code attribute will display on the report.

Understanding the Attribute Structures or Attributes Names in Reports

An item report is a CSV file that contains every item record (either product or item configuration) and all the relevant attributes about the record and its values. Since the attributes about a specific item can come in a variety of forms, Walmart has standardized the expected format of the items for clarity.

There are three attribute types that are included in the report, detailed in the following table:

Attribute TypeDescriptionStructureReport Column Value Example
Standalone AttributeThere will only be a single value for the attribute included in the report.Attribute NameUnit Cost
Array (Multi-Valued) AttributeThere will be a column for each possible value in the report. The number of columns will be represented by [X].

For example, attribute A is an array with the following data:
Record 1 has 2 values for attribute A Record 2 has 7 values for attribute A

In the report, there will be seven columns for attribute A, so X will go to 7.
Attribute A Name[X]Country of Origin [0]Country of Origin [1]Country of Origin [2]
Complex Attributes (Object-Child)These are attributes that are related to each other and grouped together under a common object attribute.

To demonstrate the attribute relationships in the report, each attribute in the group will begin with the object name and then have the attribute name.
