For complete endpoint details, refer to the An item API reference.

Endpoint

GET https://marketplace.walmartapis.com/v3/items/{id}

Replace {id} with the item identifier.

Request sample

The following request retrieves an item using its SKU.

curl --request GET \ --url 'https://marketplace.walmartapis.com/v3/items/30348_KFTest?productIdType=SKU' \ -H "WM_QOS.CORRELATION_ID: b3261d2d-028a-4ef7-8602-633c23200af6" \ -H "WM_MARKET: US" \ -H "WM_SVC.NAME: Walmart Marketplace" \ -H "WM_SEC.ACCESS_TOKEN: <ACCESS_TOKEN>" \ -H "WM_GLOBAL_VERSION: 3.1" \ -H "Accept: application/json"

Replace <ACCESS_TOKEN> with a valid access token and use a unique correlation ID for each request.

For Global API requests, set WM_MARKET to the applicable marketplace and WM_GLOBAL_VERSION to 3.1.

Modify your request

Retrieve an item by SKU

Pass the SKU as the id path parameter.

GET /v3/items/30348_KFTest

By default, the API treats the identifier as a SKU when productIdType is omitted.

You can also specify the identifier type explicitly:

GET /v3/items/30348_KFTest?productIdType=SKU

Retrieve an item using another identifier

Set productIdType to identify the format of the value supplied in {id}.

Allowed values: GTIN, UPC, ISBN, EAN, SKU, ITEM_ID

Market availability: ISBN and EAN are supported in the US marketplace only.
