Q: Which campaign types support negative keywords?
A: Negative keywords are currently supported for Sponsored Products manual campaigns and Sponsored Product auto campaigns (only Fixed Bidding).


Q: What happens if the same keyword is added as both a keyword and a negative keyword?
A: In such cases, negative keyword exclusion takes priority. The API does not return an error, but the keyword will be excluded from targeting.


Q: Will negative keywords have any impact on reporting?
A: Negative keywords will not be included in Snapshot V2 reports.


Q:: What happens if duplicate negative keywords are submitted?
A: The API will return an error if duplicate negative keywords are provided.


Q: What are the best practices or guidelines for implementing negative keywords?

Q: Why does the negative keyword value returned by the API sometimes differ from what I submitted?
A: Negative keywords are normalized by the system before being stored. As a result, the value returned in the API response reflects the normalized form, which may not exactly match your original submission.
