Campaign Recommendations
Overview
Use the Campaign Recommendations endpoint to get recommendations on your campaigns. This is an advertiser level report.
Currently, this report supports the following recommendation types:
Out of Budget (OOB) recommendations
outOfBudget
- The outOfBudget recommendations report type provides insights into aggregated missed opportunities—including clicks and impressions—over the past seven days for campaigns that went out of budget as of T-1. The report also provides the latest recommended daily and/or total budget values to help advertisers update budgets and reduce the likelihood of campaigns going out of budget in the future.
Item Alerts

The itemAlerts recommendation type is now available across all Sponsored Search third-party campaigns, regardless of bidding strategy. Previously limited to Target ROAS campaigns, this expansion gives you item health visibility across your entire advertiser portfolio.

Each alert now includes diagnostic signals that identify the specific dimension of item health driving the issue — so you can pinpoint the root cause and act faster, rather than investigating a generic flag.

Alerts are now categorized across five health dimensions:
- Content quality
- Shipping performance
- Price competitiveness
- Published and in-stock status
- Ratings and reviews
